Why Agitate?
Agitate Fitness was founded by couple Doug & Lauren; parents to 3 young boys. When Doug turned 40 he decided it was time to take back his fitness, rebuild his confidence, and prioritise his health for the sake of his family. He wanted to always be able to run around and play with his kids.
When Doug started to see the changes in his body and feel healthier in general, he felt inspired to further challenge himself - natural bodybuilding!
In 2023 and 2024, he entered the I Compete Natural (ICN) Bodybuilding Competition, earning top medals and proving that age is just a number (something Doug is very passionate about).
Getting fitter and healthier didn’t just transform Doug’s body—it made him a better husband and father. Motivated by his own transformation, Doug now strives to inspire otherS to realise that it's never too late to get fit, strong, and reclaim your health, no matter your age.
'Agitate' - because it's not always easy. You have to push through the discomfort because only then will you see the changes you desire.
